Return Policy

At Basics, we strive to bring you the highest quality products for your pets. If you or your pet are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return any products within 30 days of the transaction. Returns will only be accepted for products purchased directly from BasicsBrands.com

To return a product you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 30 days of the original purchase date. To request a RMA, simply send us an email at support@basicsbrands.com or complete our contact form found here. All RMA requests must be accompanied by the original order number as well as a reason for the return. You will receive a response within 2 business days with detailed return instructions.

Return Conditions

All of food products must be returned with at least 1/2 the product weight remaining in the original container. Any additional merchandise that is not food, must be in it's original condition. If a product you receive is damaged upon delivery, this is not considered a return and you must notify us within 10 days of order delivery. Please see damaged merchandise section below for more information.

Refunds

Refunds will typically be issued for the full purchase price of the product, but we reserve the right to deduct return shipping fees and a restocking fee dependent on the condition and circumstances of the return (this is rare, and we will notify the buyer of any return deductions when the return is authorized). The refund amount will be issued in the form of a credit to the payment method used for the purchase.

It is important to note that no product can be returned without an RMA number. Returning a product without an RMA number waives our responsibility of issuing a refund, even if proof of delivery is available.

Damaged or Defective Items

Upon receipt of your order, please inspect your product(s) carefully. If a product you receive is damaged or defective you must notify us within 10 days of order delivery. Do not discard any of the shipping label, packing material, or broken/defective items before contacting us at support@basicsbrands.com or via the contact page found here.

Damaged or defective items will be replaced only after the item is returned. If you would like to receive a refund instead of a replacement, you will be subject to the return policy outlined above.
